ALGIERS Air Huarache All Red , Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen dubbed Tuesday bilateral relations with Algeria as "strong" as the two states agreed to strengthen cooperation in all fields.
Jensen on Tuesday held talks with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. "We discussed ways to further reinforce the already strong bilateral relations," Jensen told reporters at the end of his meeting with the Algerian President.
The Danish FM indicated that his visit to Algeria was an opportunity for Danish businessmen to establish contacts with their Algerian counterparts ahead of launching new deals and projects.
"The meeting with President Bouteflika has been fruitful, as we have agreed to further strengthening the political, economic and trading relations between the two countries," he added.
Algiers and Denmark have been working side by side in the fight against terrorism, and they are keen to continue their cooperation in this field, he said.
Jensen further noted that he discussed with Bouteflika a couple of regional and international issues of common interest Air Huarache All White , saying Algeria plays a key role in terms of maintaining stability in the region, notably through efforts in restoring peace and security in Mali and Libya.
Jensen also held talks with his Algerian counterpart, Ramtane Lamamra, as they assessed bilateral relations, and discussed ways of boosting them in all sectors, APS news agency reported.
The two diplomats also "exchanged views and analysis on regional and international issues of common concern, including the situation in Mali Air Huarache All Black , Libya and the Middle East, as well as the issue of refugees and the fight against terrorism," the source noted.
Jensen said "Denmark is keen to cooperate with Algeria and build a win-win partnership, especially in the fields of energy and industry." Enditem
UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- The UN Security Council adopted a resolution Thursday, extending the mandate of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) until March 15, 2016.
The council commended the ongoing efforts of the UNSMIL and the Special Representative of the Secretary-General to facilitate a Libyan-led political solution to the increasing challenges facing the country.
At the same time Air Huarache Blue , it asked UNSMIL to focus, as an immediate priority, "on support to the Libyan political process towards the formation of a Government of National Accord and security arrangements, through the security track of the UN-facilitated Libyan Political Dialogue."
The council also expressed grave concern at "the recent proliferation of, and endangerment of lives by, the smuggling of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea, in particular off the coast of Libya."
In March Air Huarache Red , UNSMIL's mandate was revised in accordance with recommendations from the Secretariat's strategic assessment of the UN presence in Libya. This resulted in the mandate focusing, as an immediate priority, on support to the Libyan political process and security arrangements through mediation and good offices, as consistent with Thursday's resolution.
UNSMIL is a special political mission established in 2011 by the UN Security Council at the request of the Libyan authorities following six months of armed conflict to support the country's new transitional authorities in their post-conflict efforts. All UN activities for the Libyan people are guided by the principle of national ownership, according to UNSMIL website.
LONDON, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Ronald Flanagan, Chairman of the International Cricket Council's Anti-Corruption Unit Air Huarache Triple White , and Cherie Blair, Chair of Omnia Strategy (UK), will be part of an expert panel discussing corruption in sport at Doha GOALS 2013, a press release said here on Wednesday.
The debate will take place on the second day of the global Forum, which is the world's leading platform focusing on sport as a driver of social and economic change, held on December 9-11 at the Aspire Academy in Doha.
The panel, which also features Ronald K. Noble Air Huarache Triple Black , Secretary General of Interpol, Michele Verroken, CEO of Sporting Integrity and board member of the Commonwealth Games Federation (UK) and Jean Francois Vilotte, President, ARJEL (France), will discuss the need for new and better methods for prevention, detection and punishment to combat illegal betting and match-fixing in sport.
Former police Chief Ronnie Flanagan Air Huarache White , who has chaired the ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit since 2010, said: "I look forward to sharing my experiences of dealing with corruption in cricket at Doha GOALS. I've seen first-hand how the issue can infiltrate sport across international boundaries and have identified that collaboration between stakeholders is vital in the fight against illegal betting and match-fixing."

With corruption in sport becoming a growing issue in recent years the panel will also look at ways in which organizations can collect better intelligence and how can law enforcement agencies bring more investigations to successful conclusions.
And in the spirit of the Doha GOALS Forum, the debate will ask how sporting groups and governments can work together better to deliver a rapid Air Huarache Black , co-ordinated response when instances of corruption are detected.
